Congratulations to my best friend Pearly!
I spent the 4 days last week in Jersey getting ready for Pearly and Johnny's wedding. It was hectic but i thoroughly enjoyed myself. The weather was a perfect 75 degree and sunny.
I haven't seen Pearly's mom and dad forever, so it was good to have some time to catch up with them. The mom brought a whole bag of dried mangos that i just couldn't keep my hands off! Aaaaah.
Rehearsal dinner was a blast. I've not have authentic chinese food in AGES. So when i saw that jelly fish, lobster, scallops (all cooked asian style) was served i just dive right in and ate till i about explode... completely forgetting that i have a dress to fit into the next day.
The day of the wedding i was up at 5am. The boys showed up before i got ready (hey what else is new... hehe). We then perform the 'tea' ceremony which was very enlightening because i've not actually experience one before.
The ceremony at the the church was at 3pm followed by the reception at 5pm. OMG the food at the atrium where the reception was held was unbelievably good!!! Plus the champagne... *aaaaah*. Also, i get to meet the photographer and his awesome girlfriend, i swear, she is one of the coolest chick i've ever met! Oh, and Chris aka Akuma from SF is funny as hell.
All in all i had a great time. I will post some pics up soon as Pearly looks amazing in her white gown and her cheongsam.
Darn, now that this is over i need something else to look forward to.
