Yet another blow
So one of my bestest best friend is gone. 10000 miles away. We spent a good week and a half together, but all good things come to an end, and it ended at 4pm wednesday when her and mike walk throught the gates to the security check point. I had to run back to the car - tears were streaming down uncontrollably.

Mr. Inventor, can we get a teleporting device already? Pretty please?!

This is a freakin frustrating year. And it's only april. Too many goodbyes and not even one hello...

the usual
My whirlwind weekend:
  • Took Mike and Elaine to Uncle Bill's. Mike wanted Ihop for breakfast but I managed to persuade him to try something local. We ate tons and it was a good thing we walked there - coz we were able to walk back to my apt and burn off about 1% of what we ate.

  • We then venture out to the zoo. It was packed so we walked around the beautiful forest park instead. The weather couldn't be nicer.

  • Then I rushed of to designerish's bridal shower. She is just full of smiles. Kate was an awesome host as well, and as usual, I overate.

  • Met Don's best friend Kami. That girl needs a blog. soon. ;)

  • Went home and was greeted by our birthday girl Holly!

  • Went to Shu Feng on Olive for dinner. It helps that we were able to speak mandarin.

  • I continue my night out and met up with the briday shower / bachelorette girls again. This time at Pepper Lounge.

  • Boy do I feel old.

  • Sunday brunch with the girls was at Red Lobster, I felt like I was ready for a nap by the time we were done!

  • We then shopped, shopped, and shopped. It still amazes me how Mike can keep up with us.

  • Yours truly manage to score a pair of Rampage sandals for a mere $3.

  • Went home and sorted out the basement... *groan*

  • Took a break at 8pm to have dinner with DonLeen

  • On the drive home after dinner, my passangers keep reminding me that don and I drove like the one scene out of Meet the Parents.

  • It's a good thing today is denim day at work (baseball opening day!). Took me 1/2 hour less to get ready this morning.
