FA Cup final: Arsenal vs, Southampton
Listening to the game on BBC Radio just ain't the same as watching it on TV. But it's better than nothing.

replace away
This is possibly one of the best changes they made to Flash MX, which good old Flash 5 does not do so quite well:

Although, I must say, the double negative did throw me off the first time I encounter this.

Popped
After chowing down the salad from bread co. for lunch, I have to unbutton my khakis in order to sit comfortably and work. I was thinking to myself, "dang it, I didn't realized that the salad was that filling..."

Then I remember that I had put my khakis in the dryer the last time I did laundry, and it was now 1 size too small, both in length and width. This also explained why I'm wearing my flipflops to work.

Daylight? what's that?
The sun sets at 7-ish, it doesn't get completely dark till 8-ish, but my work schedule tells me that I'll never see the evening sun till next week.

It's commercial time again
It seemed like carmaker's media tactics are getting all the attention:

Crispin Porter + Bogusky, MINI Dominate One Show
Miami agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky and its client MINI USA dominated the One Show Friday night at the Winter Garden in downtown Manhattan's World Financial Center. CP+B won a whopping 23 Pencils, 16 of them for MINI work. Additionally, agency and client won Best of Show honors for their entry in the Integrated Branding category, and MINI was named the show's first-ever Advertiser of the Year and honored with a special award, sponsored by Yahoo!, for innovation in marketing. The agency that took home the second most Pencils was Arnold Worldwide with nine, for work for VW and American Legacy (three of which it shared with CP+B). Wieden + Kennedy/Portland and TBWA/Paris each won five, while Wieden/New York, Fallon/Minneapolis, Lowe/London, DDB/Chicago and Rethink/Vancouver landed three each.

But the night belonged to MINI. Out of 33 Gold Pencils, eight went to the carmaker: one in the newspaper category, two for magazine work, one for outdoor, two for posters, one for Integrated Branding and one for Innovative Marketing.

I did a search and found the website of CP+B that shows the Mini's print ads.
