...
Why in the world do I get so emotional attached to a car? How is this possible? But I am, and there ain't a damn thing I can do about it.
the weekend forecast
In less than 24 hours, I will be on the road again. This time to Atlanta GA, Charlotte NC, and then Louisville KY in four days. I'm looking forward to this, looking forward to the drive, and the people I'll see again.

I'm very excited. I hope to be able to go to sleep after watching Without A Trace tonight. The alarm clock and the cellphone will be set to go off at 4.30am friday morning.

Saturday
Having been out of town for the past three weekends, I decided to stay put this weekend and clean. Then in the afternoon, Don and Colleen came over and we headed out to the Auto Show in Motion out at Earthcity.

I got my hands on a SAAB 9-5 Aero and a 9-5 Sportswagon. The 9-5 sedan was a pleasant surprise, the interior looks impeccable, handling was tight, overall it was a fun driving experience, my only gripe about Saabs is that their seats are huge, Colleen said I looked like a 12 year old girl in those seats.

The Wagon is another story. After the zippy 9-5 sedan, the wagon felt heavy and unresponsive. The interior is also less impressive than the 9-5 Sedan. Later I found out that the Wagon was an older style compared to the sedan. Nonetheless, I liked the driving experience overall, although, I'm still a diehard OOOO fan. ;)

The Ford Explorer XLT was a joke - it's a brand new car but the belts are already squeaking. I am not impressed at all. Colleen tested out the Volvo XC90 - I would say thumbs up to that SUV.

We then headed out to the pumpkin patch out in chesterfield. Hah. It was my first time at the pumpkin patch, and it was much fun indeed. I have never seen a field full of pumpkins, let alone of all shape and sizes, and some were HUGE! I bought 4 mini pumpkins, coz I wouldn't know what to do with a big one...

We ended the night with the movie Kill Bill. It's a must see, in my opinion. Just know that this is the first of two vol. But the ending is what makes this film so good.
