Do you believe in guardian angels?
I found 3 in a most unlikely place. They were there for me when I was lost, confused and afraid. It's funny how they always stereotype angels as beautiful women on TV, and yet they were some of the most beautiful 3 women I had ever met. They were all really different in their own way (with uncanny similarity to the Powerpuff Girls), yet all possessed qualities and strengths I hope to have some day.

I had prayed every night when I was lost, and God had sent me these 3 angels before I even knew I would need them. Thanks God. And thanks to Lin, Angie and Gwen for being such angels.

At the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival awards, the Print & Outdoor ad winners were announced today, and I am proud to say that the J Walter Thompson (JWT) branch in my home country Malaysia has won an Outdoor Grand Prix for CH 9 billboard "Missile Car" (the awards go like this: Grand Prix, Gold Lion, Silver Lion and Bronze).

really?
OKay, I know I said I won't talk about cars anymore, but I can't help it! As I was travelling southbound on Hampton this evening, I happened to see a magnificent sight. First it was the front grill that caught my eye — I've been checking out the photographs ever since it was revealed at the Geneva Auto Show — so the signature "waterfall" front grill was instantly recognizable. Then as it passed me, I had to turn around and look, oh those magnificent tail lights!!! I didn't get a chance to see the badge but I was 99.9% sure what I saw was the brand new generation of Audi A6. *deep breathe in, and out, and in, and out.*

The reason I got so excited is because this car has only been launch in the european continent and I have not heard that it has made the journey across the ocean. But boy, did that got my heart racing...
5 day anniversary
Guess what girls? Me just got meself a new toy!! *bounce* :D Guess who's driving a Kelisa around town these days. *chuckle* I miss my Honda Accord terribly, but man ... there's something to be said for driving a "mini" around in KL city. The size of the car in itself is a temptation to speed and weave through everything in sight! Yep, picked it up last Friday, and I'm so glad I now finally have the freedom to drive wherever I want now (provided I know the way and don't get lost.) ;)
daaaang.
David blogged about this couple days ago, but today is the first time I read about it on official sites: "Ipod Your BMW: The First Seamless Integration of iPod and automobile"

A year or two ago when Apple partnered with VW to give out free iPod with a purchase of a New Beetle convertible, I was all excited. Because I thought, surely there's a way to hook up my Jetta if they can do it with the New Beetles? Well, apparently not. It was disappointing to find out the iPod was hook up thru a tape deck and needless to say, the degradion of sound quality was unacceptable.

Now seeing the BMW and iPod partnership makes me think that VW blew their one good chance and half-assed it, cause I imagine there is a significant overlap of target audience for iPods and VW (esp. New Beetles, and maybe Golfs/GTIs). Maybe BMW will have more success because their target customer could definitely afford the more pricey gadgets such as the iPods. And notice the selected choice of models this is offered on: the 3 series, X3 and X5 SAV, Z4, and Mini. It is definitely targeted towards the younger generation of the late 20s to late 30s.

Not that I will ever consider buying a BMW, but I wish Audi/VW will have some similar ideas in cross-products advertising. Maybe a Mini convertible as my second car? MMm... yeah I wish.

NYC trip
This was the best day ever... falling asleep in the warm afternoon sun in central park, with low humidity, 70 degrees, and my tummy full.
