experiment
got this in my emailbox today and just had to wonder if it's true. anybody wanna join in this experiment with me?

Hi All You Forgetful People (and there are a lot of us!)
This only applies to cars that can be unlocked by the remote keyless entry system. Should you accidentally lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are home, here's the answer to the problem! If someone has access to the spare remote at your home, call them on your cell phone. Hold the cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the phone. Your car will unlock. Distance is no object. You could be hundreds of miles away but if you can reach someone who has the other keyless remote for your car, then you can unlock the doors.

not much to say about nothing
  • I had a couple of things on the to do list to tackle for the long 4-day weekend. I did NONE of it.
  • The only semi-accomplished task was getting the new tires on the wheels. BUT, because i forgot to bring the hubcentric rings with me to autotire, the wheels didn't get put on the car. I am still running around with my old sets of tires and wheels while the new one is in the basement. This has been a 2 month project that should only take 3 hours.
  • Finally bust out the laptop and played Rise of Nation. When boy had the laptop he bought that game + the expansion set as well. Right now I am hooked although i've lost 2 out of 3 games.
  • For our thursday thanksgiving meal the boy took care of the entire meal except for the green bean casserole. The turkey was absolutely heavenly, crispy on the outside and very moist on the inside.
  • We had our thanksgiving meal at right around noon time cause we couldn't wait.
  • Dinner was movie theatre's popcorn and mountain dew. We saw The Incredibles. It was really incredibly awesome. I went in without any high expectations and the movie really blew me away.
  • In contrast, National Treasure—which was saw the next day—was much more of a let down because my expectations for it was so high. That and also i can't stop comparing the story line to dan brown's book.
  • Saturday and Sunday flew by. Boy played Civilization III and Empire earth while i tackle Rise of Nation. We took breaks for meal but that was it.
  • Also it was decided that i will try my best to get a day off during christmas break. If so then we'll be on a road trip to Charlotte, N.C. ... cracker barrel here we come!! ;)
