my poor baby
in the heat of the day, it poured
typical st. louis weather
except that I should have known better
to leave my sunroof opened
now the backseat is wet
and the headliner is soaked
baby would you ever forgive me?

days
Last night's The Simple Life 2: Road Trip made me cringe.
Today the olympic torch will arrive in st. louis.
Tomorrow is a day closer to the weekend.
Photos from NYC trip
The photos are up in the gallery. These are from my camera only. So girls, when you've downloaded the pics please mail me a CD. I am dying to see the rest!

the battle of the jukeboxes
I have a copied copy of the new beast|e boys cd. Tried to copy it to my iTunes, but iTunes just would NOT corporate. I can't get the CD to play, or even show up in iTunes.

Out of frustration, I launched MS Windows Media Player. And voila, the player displayed all tracks (track 1, track 2, etc...) and it played the CD. I was happy, but I still need to figure a way to get this onto my computer, and I refuse to settle for .wma files.

I looked over my shoulder and saw ryan's computer. It has MusicMatch Jukebox on it. I quickly move the CD over to his computer, plop the CD in and launch MusicMatch. MusicMatch not only plays it, but it found and showed the album and track names!!

I was very much impressed with MusicMatch, and iTunes *me shakes fingers*, you've let me down this time. *tsk tsk*
childhood memories, growing pains
I had a great night yesterday. A primary school friend of mine called me up for mamak. More people were supposed to turn up, but they cancelled at the last minute. Even though it was the 4 of us there just chatting away, I had so much fun reliving old memories and catching up with what's happening to everybody now. It just brought back so many old memories ... memories that I had quite forgotten while growing up. (And apparently a lot more drama going on than I was privy to) ;)

Meanwhile, back in modern day KL, here I am trying to get back into the groove of my life. Having so many bumps along the way, I feel pretty badly shaken up. But I'm doing my best to keep my head up high and tell myself that time will heal everything. Gone for a little retail therapy yesterday, and will probably go for more tomorrow! There's nothing like retail therapy to heal a girl's wounded heart, right? :P

update
Holly and I made it home alive, though barely. It was an excellent trip, I got the chance to take a nap in the central park lawn area, and that was all I needed ;) Pictures and updates will be up by, tomorrow, this weekend.
