a change in pace
For the past couple of months, all I have been listening to on my computers and the car cd stereo are mostly trance / dance / electronica music. I have had huge dosages of Oakenfold, Tiesto, BT, ATB, DJ GT, tons of Ministry of Sounds stuff.

so it was time for a change in pace.

A friend Robin told me about Charlotte Martin yesterday. They went to school together and robin interviewed charlotte once for the school newspaper.

So i hopped over to the website, and i was pretty impressed with what i heard! She has 3 full tracks out and the rest are 60 secs sample, so with that i got a good taste of her singing and musical capabilities. It was very good!

I found her on iTunes store, so i guess i'll be dropping a few bucks for her songs, it was well worth it.

Also, while I am singing the praises of a female artist, check out Rachael Yamagata as well. I came across one of her song as it was the free download of the week in iTunes, and ever since i was hooked.

I can see that this will be an all ladies weekend ;)

it's here!
After two months of planning and organizing, the first ever STL EUROMEET is here! When the idea was first pitched we didn't even know if it's gonna happen... but it did! Here's to our great team of organizers Dennis and Don, and to Colleen for pitching in with her expertise.

The weather looks lovely with highs in the low 80s and clear skies, I am looking forward to this. Today will be a blast! *crossing my fingers*
