sucker for pain
Cleaning out my closet yesterday, I come to realize that I have 1. too many pair of shoes. 2. about 8 pairs of Express black pants all in 4 short.

But yet, I've enlisted Pearly's help to buy me a new pair of Aerosoles pointy toe shoes that I saw in NYC, and then, being all stress out last night, I did the norm thing: went to the west county mall and bought myself yet another pair of Express black pants in 4 short.

Talk about self-inflicted pain...

moving
I know that me moving to south city is a good idea when:

1. More square footage, cheaper rent


2. A beautiful woman next door that I can borrow shoes from


3. Washer, dryer in the basement. No more trekking 1/2 mile to get to the laundry facility


4. And: I will no longer drive by any malls in st. louis on my way to/from work.

Right now, I drive by the west county mall everyday up and down I270. Stressed after work? Lord and Taylor sale? Window shopping?? Exit I270 to the mall. I really need to stop 'donating' to the local economy.

Ups and downs
Got an email from a good friend of mine with the nicest compliments, that was the highlight of my day. Then the afternoon plummetted. Have I mentioned before how much I hate WYSIWYG tools. If I have to clean out another 10 overlapping div, p, font tags I'ma go nuts!

Escape
Finally signed the papers and got two sets of new keys for my new apartment. The new place will provide mucho storage space for my endless pair of shoes, (speaking of shoes, Pearly, we need to talk), my winter jackets, and dusty old books from my college years.

I've also figure out what to do with my I-don't-think-it's-gonna-fit-through-the-door red couch. Instead of letting it be my problem, I've hired movers to move it. So now it's their problem. Hehehe. I believe I have master the art of delegation. All I need to do is pack most of my stuff, and my three 'genie' will disasemble and move all the big-item furnitures, and reasemble it at the new apartment.

This will cost me mucho bling bling, but I believe it'll be worth it. In the heat of St. Louis summer, I need all the help I can buy.
