the good thing about having a good friend that lives in NYC, is that she volunteers to do my clothes and shoes shopping for me ;) Who else would call me up at 8.45 in the morning and say, "hey girl, it's me. I'm going to H&M today, want anything?"

Got an email from Lee* today, it was very out of the blue. Him and I go way back, 6 years of primary school and 6 years of highschool! His mom was my science teacher as well. Later he went to University of Arkansas in Fayetteville to get his degree in Mechanical Engineering, and that was the last time I heard from him.

Apparently, he has since graduated and has joined a band as the lead singer. He requested that we check out his band Corpslight, and if possible, vote for them in the Streetfight content. If they win, they get a chance to play at the Lollapalloza. If they win, I'll have a friend that's famous. ;) So go vote now.

* Elaine, he's your ex-neighbor. Remember him?

back in the city
My 2 1/2 years of life in the suburbs has come to and end. I am officially back in the city now. The move went pretty smooth, I am glad the movers took care of almost everything, especially in wiping clean my wallet. *sigh* I am so broke it's not even funny. But to their credit, they did an excellent job, nothing was broken or scratched up, and they even haul a heavy-a$$ couch onto the balcony and into the living room.

So aunties + friends, you'll be getting an email from me soon w/ my new address and phone number.
