Writer's Blog
Oh, I love the whole blogging concept. I'll have to learn to become more of a geek now, coz I just absolutely love these websites. I tried to write some blogs earlier today at work, but I just couldn't finish it. Something about the whole concept of it being "published" just makes me nervous ... nervous about grammar, coherence, is the whole world going to see this and think I'm ridiculous ... you get the gist. Writer's blog ;)
Angeline, I hope you had a good and safe trip home. I'm so glad you had a wonderful 4 weeks worth of vacation back in Malaysia, it sure sounds like you made it worth every minute of your time. :) If you have pictures, shoes, clothes ... I'D LOVE TO SEE THEM!!
I'm finally taking some initiative to hang out more often with my friends at work. Melissa, Angie and I went to the Lexington Philharmonic tonight at my suggestion, and it was spectacular. They were playing a German requiem, with orchestra and choir singers. I was really expecting more "Oomph" out of this concert, but I guess you can't really get very many "moods" out of a funeral piece. See, a requiem is a hymn/composition for the dead ... so as you can imagine, all 7 or 8 movements that we sat through were pretty "sober". I had a good time watching the violinists move their bows up and down in synchroneity, especially when it got to a quicker tempo. Our next outing will be to a play by the Actors Guild of Lexington - they're currently showing "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" by Tennessee Williams, and apparently it is a very good play.
Well, so much for writer's blog, it seems that now I've started, I'm finding it hard to stop! Kudos to Angeline for Blog-itizing our website! *applause* You are the official Auntie of the Month. Welcome back!
