Sunshine
Time just flew by last week, it was an extremely productive week, with a good dinner thrown in there somewhere. Pho Grand is always good, but even better when enjoyed with two beautiful ladies:
Erin and Jana. Saturday came and went in the blink of an eye, but I made good use of the fantastic weather (77°).
Southern boy and I spent a good two hours at the car wash giving
Sadie a bath and a good wipe down after that. She is glistening in the sun and very happy now.
Got a call from
Don and
Colleen wanting to do lunch, so we met up at
Culpeppers for some hot wings. I swear, no one else in St. Louis do they do wings as good as Culpeppers. Dry wings with sauce on the side, that's my must-have for every weekend. Then who did we ran into... none other than
Erin and Al, out biking and decided they want hot wings as well.
Then it got chilly as the temperature tumbled back into the 30s again. Hung out for a bit and then headed home to a big bowl of nice warm vegetable soup.
Sunday was pretty much spent working on a new skin for
stlbloggers. It really does not help that I am so anal-retentive (don't ask me if there's a hyphen or not!). But I got most of the design implemented. Next I gotta start revamping my portfolio while I still got the urge to do so. Heh.
Highlight of my sunday: I finally sat down and chatted with
Pearly. Although we email each other pretty often, it's the first time since months ago that we actually have long conversatoin that ended in her cleenching her teeth... it turned out that she wanted to burst out laughing so bad but Johnny was asleep so she has to bite her pillow to stop herself from laughing out loud. :) You crack me up girl!
If the weatherman is correct, this coming weekend will be beautiful like saturday. That'll definitely put me in the good mood. That and plus the fact that my entire week is already fully lined with activities: dinner with thegang at Al's; dinner with Erin;
Vince's birthday happy hour;
and Leesa's happy hour bash. The ferret just pointed it out that it is next week, not this.
All those and on top of that, I'm starting a new project at work. Speaking of which, gotta go. *poof*
