Watching MTV True Life - I live in the terror zone really opened my eyes. This episode of True Life captures the lives of couple of young teens living in Israel and Palestine, how they deal with their daily lives, their fears, ...etc. Last week's True Life showcased couple of U.S. military men and women and
their lives in Iraq, which is an equally interesting subject.
The youths today determines our future tomorrow, and MTV recognizes that and is taking full advantage of it to get the message out to it's target audience. According to some news source that I've read, ever since 9-11, teens and young adults are paying more attention to global issues and politics, as more and more of their friends' life are affected by the war on terrorism.
I think as long as MTV presents news and info in an unbiased mode, or try to presents both side of the story, I do think there is hope for the future, and that the youths today could really make a difference tomorrow.
